Description

The project was titled in the syllabus "7 Items, 7 Places"-- the concept being that we were to pick 7 objects that we felt expressed something about ourself, stick them in a bag, and draw them in 7 different locations.

... we ended up doing about 9 of these... Talk about false advertising.

My items were (in no particular order of importance):
1) a large, red d6 (6-sided (or regular) die)
2) my plush Jack Skellington (Nightmare Before Christmas)
3) a little pocket puzzle
4) a paintbrush
5) my cat-tail from a few Halloweens ago
6) my choker that my boyfriend bought me (I jokingly call it my Kitty collar)
7) my mp3 player

Size for all of these is 24x30 inches.

Another that has it's own little name. Chaos Should be obvious as to why... What happened here? Easy... when balancing a large drawing board on your lap so that you can work on large paper, it's best to find somewhere else to set the bottle of ink.

I lost about half the bottle on this. Got all over the paper, the drawing board, the floor, and my pants. At this point, as soon as I was finished, I was so frustrated with the whole class in general that I hide myself in a corner and cried. -_- I think I thoroughly disturbed poor Jason... it was all he could do to go grab :iconpurpleoctopus: so that she could deal with it.

Which, I greatly appreciate on both of their parts. It was good observation on the part of Jason that the two of us were pretty close and thus she would likely be better suited.

But yeah, slight Emo tendencies aside, I had been really pleased with the way this one was working out, too. I mean, this adds an interesting aspect to it, but I would have liked to be able to see where it could have gone-- sans spillage.
