My Secret Santa present for 
! Thanks to 
for setting up such an amazing program!
First off, I'd like to start by saying that I wish I had a better scanner... Some of the colors got washed out / came out too dark... For example, practically none of the shading I put into the Immortal's skin actually came out, but I had some pretty good shading in red for her orange skin. *sigh* Ah well...
Secondly, Thankies very much to my bestest friend who was so kind as to give me prismacolors for Christmas!!! Best gift ever!!! *huggles her* She had wanted to pick up a full set of basic colors, but her university bookstore where she picked them up was completely out of white black and brown. I really don't care, though... 'Cause I have prismacolors!!!
So everything but the metalics in the wings, ribbons, and the human's corset/belt, as well as the white used for highlights and the black used for shadows in the purple dress, all of this was done using my brand new Prismacolors.
Oh... and of course the background is CG. ><* It didn't turn out quite like I'd hoped, but I still like it...

The colors in this are awesome. Really bright and almost startling, for the immortal, but still nice to look at. I like the blues and reds in her hair, and the way they kind of blend together. Nice work with the deep purple shading on the dress, too.. it looks kind of velvety. The whole picture makes you wonder about the story behind it...
and scanners are the devil. you have my sympathy there.
